Moonlighter splits its day in two: dive into procedurally generated dungeons to loot gear and materials by night-shift logic, then haggle, price, and restock a shop with it during the day. Neither half works without the other — the dungeons fund the shop, and the shop funds better dungeon runs.

The pricing mechanic is the clever bit. You don't know what anything is worth until customers react to your asking price, so the economy is something you discover by watching people walk away, not something a wiki hands you up front. It's a roguelite that's just as interested in supply and demand as it is in swords.
